Amtrak's North Coast Hiawatha rolls north along Puget Sound at Meadowdale Pier on its way east from Seattle to Chicago via the former GN to Spokane, and the former NP through Montana. With its eclectic power and rolling stock, it was fun to see and even more fun to ride.
