A train loaded with lumber products winds its way through Cable, on the outskirts of the town of Tehachapi, California, on November 25, 1978. In a handful of miles, SP SD45 9026 and it's train will crest the summit and begin the downgrade to Mojave and, eventually, reach its final destination of West Colton Yard in Bloomington CA.
