Remarks & Notes
The New York to Rutland Ethan Allen has just departed Rensselaer and crossed the Hudson River as it passes the landmark abandoned Central Warehouse in Albany. The train is just starting into the 1.56% West Albany Hill, the ruling grade WB on the old NYC Water Level Route. The Ethan Allen is lead by one of the two Amtrak dual modes in the Phase III Empire scheme.

The GE Genesis series are well known for being Amtrak's locomotive. With confirmation of retirement from Amtrak themselves, their time is limited. Now is your chance to catch them before the chargers arrive!
