Remarks & Notes
Two "oddball" Amtrak engines, the 822 heritage and "white logo" 43 pull the first set of VIA cars down into the Amtrak station for head room during a switching move on Monday morning. The consist would then back north up to the wye at the Troy industrial track where the train would be turned to face north for the trains inaugural run on Tuesday 11-20. The northern part of downtown Albany is to the left as the remnants of morning fog are burning off.
