A scene only possible through the shutter of a camera.. As RP.net contributor Loyd Lowry and myself sit on a rock placed conveniently in the middle of the New River in complete darkness, an eastbound Hinton bound coal train rumbles over the Sewell trestle. Relying on light provided by the moon and stars, this scene was perfectly exposed in 16 minutes.
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
