Remarks & Notes
Red Leader | Providence & Worcester B39-8 no. 3903 is seen leading a trio of Genessee & Wyoming-painted C40-8 locomotives onto Randalls and Wards Island as they cross the Hell Gate Bridge into Manhattan. This was one of the first trains of the spring to fall "FPCH season," and the classic red and brown P&W livery was quite a treat to see leading the way from Fresh Pond Yard to Cedar Hill Yard!
