| Power for "D&H 265" lays over in Conrail's Oak Island Yard. At the time CP Rail trains 265 and 266 were handling intermodal and general merchandise traffic into the New York metro area. CP's modest intermodal terminal can be seen in the distance, along with the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Power for these trains was anything running on CP in the Northeast including Delaware & Hudson and Soo Line, as seen here. Interestingly, three of the four units in this consist were built for the KCS. |
