Graveyard of NS Power
RJ Corman recently acquired 14 ex-NS SD70Ms with notched nose cabs, two of which ended up on their Pennsylvania Lines. Here we see two of them parked up in Cresson, PA, one of which, 2647, hadn't yet been repainted. To their right, 3 ex-NS C40-8s sit at Cresson Steel, which acquired them sometime around 2016. Despite the fact that Cresson Steel frequently deals in the scrapping of NS locomotives and locomotive components, it's been holding onto these Dash 8s for years.
