| YJA65 heads back to the South Janesville Yard after completing its work at Anderson. The train is rolling over the connection switch where the Wisconsin & Southern enters Union Pacific’s Janesville Industrial Lead, utilizing trackage rights to bridge the gap between the WSOR Janesville Yard and the Madison Sub. Although UP owns the roughly 2.5 mile stretch of track, they only run turns to Anderson twice a week. However, WSOR does its part to keep the rails polished, typically making six to eight movements over the lead on most weekdays. |
