| The Austrian railway company Westbahn has ordered three SMILE high-speed trains from StadlerRail for service from Vienna via Semmering and the new Koralmbahn to Klagenfurt and Villach. The trains are technically identical to the "Giruno" RABe 501 # 001 to # 041 trains operated by SBB. The first new Westbahn train, RABe 501 # 042 (93 85 0 501 042-2 CH-WSTBA), arrived from the StadlerRail commissioning centre Erlen in St.Margrethen, for the transfer to Austria. |
