This 4-6-2 steam locomotive, number 3404, was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. It had a total engine and tender weight of 534,670 lbs., and a tractive force of 43,300 lbs. The BLW construction number was 51,594. It was built in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, where my great, great Uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., worked as a design engineer at Baldwin.
