| Hands Off!
The wall of circuit breakers at the SONO Switch Tower Museum which once monitored the status of the overhead catenary along this section of the New Haven Railroad. Somewhat counterintuitively, the red light meant things were OK and green meant the breaker had been tripped - the logic was that red meant the wire was live and green meant it was safe to work on. |
