On October 21st, 2025, New York & Atlantic Railway (NYA), in collaboration with Railroad Construction Company (RCC) and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), operated a work train to drop fresh ballast on the “Straight” and “Back” tracks within the railroad’s Pine Aire Yard in Brentwood, New York. Both tracks are currently undergoing heavy maintenance to improve their overall condition and ensure continued reliable service. In this photo the RCC crew utilizes a Harsco Mark IV Stabilizer on the "Straight" as LIRR train 1933 approaches on Main Line 1.
