The Chicago-Miami, City of Miami on Seaboard Air Line rails at Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 20, 1967. Route between Chicago an Birmingham IC rails. Leaving Birmingham on Central of Georgia to Albany, Georgia. From Albany to Jacksonville on the Atlantic Coast Line RR. The Florida East Coast operated the train from Jacksonville to Miami until the strike of 1963. After the 1963 strike the City of Miami and all ACL Miami bound trains were rerouted through Orlando via ACL to Auburndale, where they crossed over to Seaboard Air Line rails to reach West Palm Beach and Miami.
