| South Jersey Heritage.
NJ Transit GP40PH-2B no.s 4202 and 4208 are on display during the MMC Family Day event at NJ Transit's Meadows Maintenance Complex. The 4202 had emerged from the paint booth just days prior in its new Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines heritage scheme, with the 4208 being the next newest unit. The pair is quite fitting, as Conrail took over the former PRSL operations on April 1, 1976 after the Penn Central and the Reading declared bankruptcy. |
