At the end of a cloudy and rainy day, the sun peeks out for the last hour or so. With the lighting being better than what I bargained for, the race was on between the train showing up soon or the sun dipping below the horizon.
On my last drone battery, it also added to the suspense on if the train would show and if my shot would be what I had planned for.
Sure enough, the sound of the 1111 was off in the distance and things worked out 100x better than I had expected!
The lead unit, UP 1111, was painted in 2019 at North Little Rock shops and was designed to reflect and honor the men & women who are employed by Union Pacific thru all crafts. It is definitely a unique one!
