CSXT 900077, a former N&W class C-31 caboose (NW 518500), which was based in Hagerstown just a couple of years ago, and used to protect the extensive reverse move required of the “Letterkenny Local” (CSX L152), is now based at Hancock, and used as a shoving platform when servicing the U.S. Silica plant on the Berkeley Springs Industrial Track.
NW 518500 was built by International Car (Kenton, OH) in 12/1968 at a cost (to N&W) of $18.720.60.
