Santa Fe five-unit F7s 305 (A-A-B-B-B) was on No. 1 the streamlined SAN FRANCISCO CHIEF on July 3, 1970 during the Belen, N.M. servicing stop. One hundred and two years of Santa Fe passenger service ended when Amtrak took over passenger service on May 1, 1971. Photo by K. Crist, from my collection.
