The leaves are just starting to change from green as Green Mountain Railroad's venerable Alco RS-1, #405, performs a runby at Ludlow. This was part of a 2-day Trains Magazine charter that had the 405 back in Rutland lettering and explored the majority of the remaining Rutland contiguous mainline, from Burlington to Bellows Falls.
