A CSX interchange via North Baltimore, OH to the Port of Los Angeles intermodal train emerges out of the shadows of Crozier Canyon as it heads west towards Valentine. Though trains destined for ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach consist of 40' maritime containers, this train has a block of 53' domestic containers towards the front. That cut of 53' containers will be set out Hobart Yard before continuing to the ports.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
