If it weren’t for ditch lights, one may think this is a hot Alpha Jet thundering out of Big Savage Tunnel in 1970 enroute to Lurgan, PA on it’s journey along the Western Maryland’s share of the Alphabet Route. In reality, this is Lick Run Tunnel on the former C&O North Mountain Sub in 2025 as PNLX 7471 leads BB Z631 towards Clifton Forge, VA.
The "BB" was founded in 1988 and ran its first train on March 6, 1989. The BB has grown from 17 miles of track and two employees to 275 miles and 75 employees, spanning over Virginia in three separate divisions.
