| On a cloudless October afternoon, two aging CSX ES44s chug through downtown Nashville with a heavy coal train in tow and one more AC unit assisting mid-train. Opened in 1900, the L&N's Union Station is now a top-end Marriott hotel, with an interior reminiscent of the luxury once associated with train travel. |
