Remarks & Notes
The CN climbs out of the Lake Winnebago basin south of Fond du Lac on Bryon Hill. Trains climb from 820 feet to around 1,060 feet in 6 miles. With 20,000 tons of iron ore bound for the Gulf, this heavy U724 lumbers along at 13 mph climbing the hill. 2 BLE tunnel motors are shoving on the rear end to help this 2x1 Dp'd train. Here the train is about to cross Church Road.
