There was a bit of a 'race' on between Amtrak Train 49 (Lake Shore Limited) (with AMTK 710, P32AC-DM ) and MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 2855 (with MNCW 220, P32AC-DM) as they both headed towards the tunnels in Oscawana Park in Croton-On-Hudson, New York on the afternoon of Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the same time. This location is just one of the many great spots that shows why this stretch of the railroad through the Hudson Valley is regarded as one of the best mainline scenic train rides in the United States.
