A 56-year veteran sits at the BNSF engine servicing facility in Denver, Colorado. BNSF 3005 started life in 1968 as a GP40 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, the worked in Cascade Green for the Burlington Northern and was subsequently rebuilt as a GP40M for the BNSF.
