| The University of Louisville's football stadium sits on the site that once from 1905 to the late 80's was the L&N's south Louisville shops that built many steam locomotives and serviced diesels. Today the stadium called L&N is not so much for the what the site was the former but for the L&N credit union who sponsors it. None the less it was nice to see CSX's L&N heritage unit leading M573 south passing the historic site heading for Osborne yard. |
