Restored Roundhouse.
A wide variety of equipment is seen within the roundhouse at the B&O Railroad Museum. The building was part of the railroad's Mount Clare Shops, founded in 1829, which served the B&O, C&O, and CSX railroads until all shop work at the site was discontinued in 1974. The museum itself was established in 1953, and now houses over 250 pieces of rolling stock - not all inside the roundhouse, of course!
