Remarks & Notes
Stainless Steel Speedliner. Baltimore & Ohio RDC-2 no. 1961 is seen outside the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, MD on the afternoon of March 23, 2024. This unit was one of two RDC-2 cars used for Daylight Speedliner service between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, via Baltimore and Washington DC. Unusually, the two RDC-2 cars were configured as dining car / baggage / coach cars for service on the route. 1961's sister car also survives at the Danbury Railway Museum.
