Back in 2006, the BNSF was detouring these Granite City ore trains via Aurora. I don't remember exactly why, but I think it was a bridge issue or something? Either way, it was cool to see these heavy train pounds out of Savanna and across the C&I. Here, one is down and out as they pass a parked train in the siding at Burke. Scanned Slide.
