| The Northside Commute. During pre-rush hour in Downtown Chicago, a Metra equipment set coming from California Ave Coach Yard can be seen on it’s way to Ogilvie Transportation Center in preparation for the evening rush hour. UPY 723, a yard switcher from California Ave shoves the empty coaches over the Kennedy Expressway. With Metra slated to take over this territory very soon, it may not be long before Metra painted Geeps take over these scenes. |
