| The westbound California Zephyr passes through a Winter Wonderland in the midst of the area known as the Tunnel District. This is on UP's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision, located about 26 miles west of Denver Union Station. Several inches of snow fell the previous two days, turning the evergreen trees in to "ever white" trees as the snow clings to the branches. Passengers on the Zephyr have some fantastic views here and ahead. |
