A bit of good timing was at hand to get EXO, VIA, and REM nicely lined up on the lead tracks to Montreal's Central Station. The three-car EXO was parked and soon shove to the platform for an evening run to Mascouche, while VIA's Siemens Charger no. 2203 was on train 39 from Québec to Ottawa. The REM was at that time still performing qualification runs, about a months prior to the beginning of revenue service.
