| When the special train of the Furka Mountain Steam Railway ran from Realp and Andermatt over the Oberalp Pass to Disentis, a large number of passengers appeared in period clothing from the 1930s, when the Furka-Oberalp Railway (FO) still ran here with steam, at the request of the organizer and for their own pleasure. The Andermatt-Disentis line was opened in 1926 and was not electrified until 1940/1941. The train with cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 4 stopped in Oberalppass station for taking water, and to let pass timetabled trains. |
