"CWP Over the Merritt"

During the dusk hour of August 18th, 2023, Metro-North Railroad's Brandt Continuous Work Platform (CWP/"Slot Train") crosses the Merritt Parkway in the Talmadge Hill neighborhood of New Canaan, Connecticut, while picking up used rail tie bundles along the New Canaan Branch. Right-of-way clean-up is one of the final tasks to be completed during the Connecticut Department of Transportation's (CTDOT) 2023 New Canaan Branch Track Improvement Program.
