| The two electric shunting locomotives Ge 2/2 # 162 and # 161 of the Rhaetian Railway of 1911 are in daily service till now in the station of Poschiavo. They were built as Ge 2/2 # 61 and # 62 as trailing locomotive on the heavy grades of 7.0 % on the Bernina line by SIG and Alioth in 1911. They have 250 kW and a maximum velocity of 45 km/h. The # 161 in the background got the brown color in 2018 again and is declared historic locomotive. In the background is the San Pietro church above the station. |
