Evoking memories of Reading Lines Iron Horse Rambles of yore, a gorgeous late October Saturday afforded opportunity to enjoy the impressive Reading & Northern T-1 handling 18 cars between Reading and Jim Thorpe, PA and return. Here this marvelous locomotive is working upgrade on the old Jersey Central Nesquehoning Branch. The sound was magnificent! One has to respect R&N for the initiative displayed in fielding such a locomotive, and for their operation in general.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
