| Aberdeen Carolina & Western's business train crosses the Rocky River bridge east of Oakboro, NC, during the F-unit's first run across the western district of the ACWR towards Charlotte. The original Norfolk Southern built quite a few long and high bridges along their mainline to negotiate the many hills and valleys on their route into the Queen City of North Carolina. |
