Cherry Creek Combo. Another unusual part of the run on New York and Lake Erie Railroad on Saturday, June 25, 2022 was a trip down to Cherry Creek, New York. Regular excursion service ends at the South Dayton, New York station, but recent work on the railroad allows trains to travel further. The station at Cherry Creek still very much shows the Erie Railroad heritage of this line. MLWs FPA2 6758 (ex-VIA 6758, neé-CN 6758) and FPA4 6764 (ex-VIA 6764, neé-CN 6764) were putting out an impressive effort as the passed former Erie Railroad S-1 308 (Alco, 11/1946), which was posed on the siding for the photo opportunity. The NYLE once used this line to connect to Jamestown, New York, but much of the track beyond here is impassible.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
