Remarks & Notes

A clean quartet of EMD six-axles lead Conrail SEAL-4 south off the controlled siding at CP7. Three SD40-2s are joined by an SD45-2, not a common consist in an era dominated by C40-8Ws. As of the date of this photo, "Big Conrail" had just turned 22 and would have one year left of existence.
