NYS&W 3002 pauses between switching moves on the Edgewater Branch. A tank car can be seen just behind 3002, proof that there was still some active rail business here in 1985 amid the tank farms and industrial decay that comprised Edgewater's waterfront at the time. This would be the only moving train I would ever see on the east end of the Edgewater Branch. Except for the buildings in the far distance, nothing pictured exists today. Residents of "The Metropolitan" luxury high-rise complex would probably not recognize this view, which is now within the parking garage that sits at ground level beneath the residential towers.
