| AMTK 301 hitched a ride on the Capitol Limited and arrives in Washington DC for the first time, reaching the east coast after traveling from it's birthplace near Sacramento. It wears the Day 1 livery, worn only by one other locomotive decorated for Amtrak's first day of operation in 1971. |
