Locked Out.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R77 locomotive 884 (GE SL50, 1983) idles with BU gate car 1273 at the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, as crews prepare to load the latter onto a trailer for the "Hometown Heroes" ticker tape parade on 7/7/2021.
The train is nearly as close as it could possibly get to the derail at the interchange between the SBK and NYNJ Rail, which operates the carfloat between 65th Street Railyard in Brooklyn and Greenville Yard in Bayonne, NJ, as well as the street running on 1st Avenue through Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It is, however, locked into the interchange, as the track in the foreground leads to NYCTA.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
