Remarks & Notes

The Newberg Turn crosses a timber trestle on Rex Hill that had recently suffered a fire. You can see the scorched trees and burned trestle timbers near the rear unit. This scenic line is currently mothballed by successor Portland & Western, with an uncertain future.
