Fall in the Valley
Amtrak 5 skims the Tolland valley past Karel Park Lake below the Giants Ladder of the old Rollins Pass line among peak Fall color. About to cross East Portal Road, onward to the Moffat Tunnel under the Great Divide the California Zephyr is a delight to any traveler that rides the Moffat Road. An easy shot to acquire, taken from County Road 4-N which will take you past Unit 38 Campsite and all the way over Colorado Mountain. |
