Remarks & Notes |
The DX class was built by General Electric's Erie, PA plant and entered service from 1972. From 1988 the DX class received a series of modifications and, were classified DXB. The train is heading to Whangarei at the northern end of the rail network. The open top containers were used for wood chip traffic from Portland until the recent closure of the mill. |
