New Chessie System boxcars direct from builder BFF (Berwick Forge and Fabricating Corp.) heading to Newberry Yard have just passed PP&L's Montour Steam Electric Station, now Talen Energy's Montour Power Plant. This branch line through to Berwick would only remain in service into the next month when a clearance project on CR's Bloomsburg Branch would be completed, removing a clearance restriction at Rupert, PA. Rail service on this line through to MP 14 under NS continues as of this posting.
