| BNSF's Provo-Denver manifest snakes through the steep and rugged Gore Canyon on the upper Colorado River as the morning's snow storm recedes. Though the canyon is short (approx. 3 miles), its walls ascend close to 1000' on either side and the engineering required by the railway to navigate it was quite the feat for the time. |
