The Tioga Scenic Railroad, in conjunction with Genesee & Wyoming Railroad's Wellsboro & Corning affiliate, operates Friday and Saturday excursion and dinner train service between Wellsboro and Tioga's Hammond Lake in northern Pennsylvania. The route utilizes the fomer Conrail, ex-New York Central line that once traversed the scenic Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, however today terminates on the south end at Wellsboro. Excursions are powered by a pair of Buffalo & Pittsburgh locomotives, GP40-2 3050 and GP9 886, utilizing the Tioga Central's passenger equipment that includes an open air car. The Sunset Express/Dinner train is seen on August 16, having just turned back from the terminus at Hammond Lake, with BPRR 3050 leading the southbound trip.
