On Sunday, August 4, Conway Scenic Railroad celebrated the 45th Anniversary of its first run, a run that was made in 1974 with Conway Scenic ex-CN 0-6-0 #7470. To commemorate the anniversary, Conway Scenic dedicated and named the locomotive for the man that was instrumental in getting the #7470 to North Conway, Dwight Smith. Now at age 94, Dwight was on hand to be recognized and surprised by his name adorning the cab side of the recently overhauled 0-6-0.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
