Remarks & Notes
The holiday rush is on. Carrying green flags, this is the third section of Train 15, "The Ocean" from Halifax to Montreal. The train is crossing the Richelieu River. This was the site of a wreck on June 29, 1864 when an 11 car Grand Trunk passenger train went through the open swing bridge and fell into the river, killing 99 people.
